1.2.6.12. Preostorozhnost measures voizbezhany operations of the SRS systems

The system of SRS airbags is designed only as addition to the main safety system of seat belts on the party of the driver and forward passenger. Forward passengers should remember that if they are not properly fastened by seat belts, then at operation of the airbag they can suffer serious injuries or die. At unexpected braking just before collision the driver or the forward passenger who is not fastened properly by a seat belt can move forward close to the airbag which can work then at collision. For ensuring the maximum protection during accident the driver and all passengers in the car have to be properly fastened by means of seat belts. Appropriate use of seat belts reduces probability of death or serious injuries, and also probability of emission of the person from the car.
Babies and children who are incorrectly put and/or fastened can die or suffer serious injuries at operation of forward airbags. The baby or the child who is too small to use for it seat belts has to be properly protected by means of a children's seat. Toyota strongly recommends that all babies and children were on a back seat of the car and were reliably protected. The back seat is the safest for babies and children.
Do not allow the child to rise or kneel on a seat of the forward passenger as the forward airbag is inflated with a considerable speed and force. Otherwise, the child can die or suffer a serious injury.
You do not hold the child on a lap or on hands.
Do not put objects and do not put pets on the dashboard or in front of the panel or the platform of a steering wheel in which the system of forward airbags is located. They can interfere with inflation of a pneumopillow, or lead to death or a serious trauma as force of the developed airbags will reject them back. Moreover, the driver and the forward passenger should not hold things in hand or on a lap.
Do not modify and do not delete any wires. Do not modify, do not remove, do not strike and do not open any components, for example, the platform of a steering wheel, a steering wheel, a casing of a steering column, a cover of the airbag of the forward passenger, the airbag of the forward passenger or knot of sensors of airbags. Similar actions can lead to unexpected operation of the SRS airbag or removal of system out of operation with the subsequent death or serious injuries.
