2.1.2. Mechanism of the drive of valves

Each cylinder is equipped with 2 inlet and 2 final valves. Efficiency of an admission and release is increased at the expense of big sections of valves through passage. Valves open and closed directly by 2 cam-shafts. Cam-shafts of the drive of inlet and final valves are put in action by a chain. The VVT-i system for a cam-shaft of the drive of inlet valves is used to provide high fuel profitability, performance data of the engine and to reduce harmful emissions with the fulfilled gases. Pushers of valves without adjusting washers are used.
