The bent shaft (fig. 2.185) shod steel, has four radical necks and nine counterbalances. Galteli of all necks of a bent shaft are processed by a nakatka to provide the corresponding durability. Bearings of the first and fourth radical necks of a bent shaft have big width for noise reduction and fluctuations, bearings of the second and third radical necks of a bent shaft are made narrower.
