2.3.9.16. Compensation of failures of the sensor of provision of a pedal of management of fuel supply

The sensor of provision of a pedal of management of supply of fuel includes two (main and additional) sensor chains. At malfunction in any of sensor chains the electronic control unit of the engine finds a difference in signal tension in these two chains and switches to emergency operation of work. In this mode the remaining chain is used for calculation of an angle of rotation of a pedal of management of fuel supply to exercise driving in emergency operation.
If both systems work with failures, the electronic control unit of the engine finds the wrong tension of a signal between chains of the sensor and considers that the angle of rotation of a pedal of management of supply of fuel corresponds to completely pressed pedal, and then continues management of an accelerator. At this time the vehicle can move in the mode of "small gas".
