2.3.9.17. Compensation of failures of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve

The sensor of provision of a butterfly valve includes two (the main additional) sensor chains. At malfunction in any of sensor chains the electronic control unit of the engine finds a difference in signal tension in these two chains, disconnects current to the electric motor of the drive of a butterfly valve and switches over works to emergency operation. Then, under the influence of force of a returnable spring, the butterfly valve comes back to a standard position and remains in this situation. In this case the vehicle can carry out the movement in emergency operation, and engine capacity is regulated by means of management of injection of fuel and installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition according to the angle of opening of an accelerator.
The similar control algorithm is used if the electronic control unit of the engine finds malfunction in system of the electric motor of the drive of a butterfly valve.
