Check thermal gaps in the valves specified in the figure 2.224.
Using the probe, measure a gap between a cam and a pusher of the valve. Write down results. They will be used later when determining thickness of an adjusting washer.
Thermal gap in valves (on the cold engine):
inlet – 0,15–0,25 mm;
final – 0,25–0,35 mm.

Turn a bent shaft on 240 ° (2/3 turns) and check a thermal gap in the valves specified in the figure 2.225.

Turn a bent shaft once again on 240 ° (2/3 turns) and check a thermal gap in the valves specified in the figure 2.226.
