3.3.10.1. Survey and check of the coupling of the hydrotransformer

Examine the unilateral coupling.
Install special adaptation 09350-32014 in an internal ring of the unilateral coupling.

Install special adaptation so that it got to a groove of the plug of the hydrotransformer and an external ring of the unilateral coupling (fig. 3.81).

Having installed the hydrotransformer coupling sideways, be convinced that the unilateral coupling is blocked at rotation counterclockwise and smoothly rotates clockwise (fig. 3.82).
In case of need clear the hydrotransformer and repeatedly check the unilateral coupling.
Replace the hydrotransformer at negative result of check of the unilateral coupling.
Define a condition of knot of the coupling of the hydrotransformer.
If as a result of check of the coupling of the hydrotransformer the following item is not implemented, replace the hydrotransformer coupling.
Signs of malfunction are given below.
The coupling of the hydrotransformer makes a metal sound at the parking test or when the lever of gear shifting is in neutral situation.

The unilateral coupling rotates freely or blocked in both directions. The quantity of a suspension in working liquid exceeds a standard limit (see fig. 3.83).

NOTE
In the drawing the quantity of a suspension approximately in 0,25 l of working liquid which is merged from the removed hydrotransformer coupling is shown.

Replace working liquid in the hydrotransformer coupling.
If working liquid changed color and/or has an unpleasant smell, well stir liquid in the coupling of the hydrotransformer and merge it, holding the transformer a front part up.
