5.2.3. Check of pressure of working liquid of the hydraulic booster

Connect the manometer.
Disconnect the delivery pipeline from a pump housing.

Connect the manometer, as shown in the figure 5.7.

NOTE
Make sure that the crane of the manometer is open.

Pump over system.
Start the engine and establish idling turns.
Turn a steering wheel on full turn two or three of time to warm up working liquid.
Temperature of working liquid: 80 °C.

Check pressure of working liquid at the closed crane of the manometer (fig. 5.8).
Minimum admissible pressure: 7845 kPa.

NOTE
You do not hold the crane closed more than 10 pages. Do not assume that temperature of working liquid became too high.

Check liquid pressure at the open crane of the manometer (fig. 5.9).
Idling the engine open the crane completely.
Measure liquid pressure with a frequency of rotation of the mines-1 engine 1000 and 3000 min.-1.
The most admissible difference of pressure: 490 kPa.

NOTE
Do not turn a steering wheel.

Check liquid pressure at turn of a steering wheel in extreme situation (fig. 5.10).
Idling the engine and at completely open valve turn a steering wheel on the maximum corner.
Minimum admissible pressure: 7845 kPa.

ATTENTION
Do not hold a steering wheel in extreme situation more than 10 pages. Do not allow temperature of working liquid to become too high.

Disconnect the manometer.
Connect the delivery pipeline to a pump housing.
Pump over system of the amplifier of steering.
